This week for our Florida Beach Wedding Spotlight we are going to move North into Clearwater. Clearwater Beach is a top tourist destination and well known for i’ts white sandy beaches, live music, restaurants, resorts and activities galore. There are a couple of places that we recommend to our couples for their Weddings in Clearwater. The first is Sand Key Park…here’s a sneak peak of some of our past Weddings in Sand Key Park.

Sand Key Park is the perfect setting for large Weddings. It’s a wide spread white sand beach with lots of room to host your Wedding. There is plenty of parking for your guests and additional photo opportunities with lifeguard stands and rock jetties. Sand Key Park has covered picnic shelters that can serve as a casual setting for your Beach Reception. There are a few additional expenses to consider when booking your Beach Wedding on Sand Key.  Parking is $5 per car and you will have to obtain a permit if you want to set up any decor or chairs for your Wedding. Permits start at $214.

Sunset Beach – Florida Beach Wedding Spotlight

Probably the most popular question that we receive from our couples is “What is the best beach for a Florida Beach Wedding?”. We would love to tell you that there is just one that ranks at the top of our list but the truth is that while all of our Beaches are beautiful they each have their own unique personality and qualities. It’s important to us that when we answer this question we know a little bit more about you and what you envision for your Wedding day.  Are you looking for a beach that offers the most privacy or do you want the convenience of walking to your Ceremony site from your hotel? Questions like this need to be answered before you make your final decision on where you would like your Florida Beach Wedding.

Over the next couple of weeks we are going to spotlight the Florida Beaches that we most commonly recommend. How are we going to do this? Tampa Bay and Clearwater Weddings on the Bay!

I have been dying to share this new location with everyone! Even as I sit here and type this post I am just giddy with excitement over the endless possibilities for our newest location in Clearwater right on Tampa Bay.  This little gem is just gorgeous with it’s majestic Oak Trees and endless green grass set up against Tampa Bay.  If you have always dreamed of having an outdoor Tampa or Clearwater Wedding but just aren’t sure that you are the “Sand in your Toes” type then this is the place for you.  Just take a look at this breathtaking view…

 We decided that this location was the perfect spot to debut one of our new Decor Packages to be released for our 2013 Brides. Black + White Florida Beach Wedding

Black and White Florida Beach Wedding - Treasure Island Beach Wedding

If you would have asked me a month ago what I thought about Black and White as a color theme for your Florida Beach Wedding I would have told you that it’s not a color theme that I would put on the Beach. When I think of colors that that are perfect for a Beach Wedding I tend to pull from the surrounding elements of the Beach. Colors like Blue, Aqua, White, Pink, Orange, Ivory, Brown and Green. All colors that you will find at the beach. If you take a look at our Florida Beach Wedding Packages you will see that I pull directly from these colors.

Well as of today, I am adding Black and White to my list of Perfect Beach Wedding Colors! Mica and Bobby chose Black and White as their Beach Wedding Color Theme and boy did they pull it off. It was so simple, yet elegant and if I may say so…even Romantic!

Have I mentioned that I think these are super cute? I think you get the picture.

So what does a banana and a monkey have to do with a Florida Beach Wedding?? Absolutely nothing, but it just goes to show that anything goes down on St. Pete Beach! As our local Tampa Wedding Photographer, Booray Perry, was taking pictures of Jennifer and Jeremy he noticed a Monkey chasing a Banana down the beach…no doubt that somebody lost a bet…lol! We couldn’t resist snapping a shot of them with our happy couple.
